Vulcain Engineering UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer in Portsmouth to lead the design, integration, and testing of control panels and cabinet-based systems for a new build life sciences facility.

Qualifications
- Electrical design experience in control panels and cabinets.
- Experience with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Background in regulated industries (life sciences, nuclear) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support integration and modification of control panels and cabinet-based systems.
- Review and update wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical files.
- Implement and manage design changes with project compliance.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure correct builds.
- Oversee assembly, wiring, and configuration activities as needed.
- Perform system testing, verification, and validation of operation.
- Identify and resolve issues during integration, build, testing phases.
- Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
