Job summary

Garden Centre Restaurant is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to lead the pastry section in a busy, food-led garden centre restaurant. This hands-on role offers daytime shifts only with no evenings, and a 40-hour week in a full-time, permanent position.

The successful candidate will craft cakes and desserts from scratch, lead and develop the pastry team, and contribute to an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as Pastry Chef or senior pastry role.
• Skilled in cakes, desserts and patisserie from scratch.
• Ability to lead and develop a pastry team and manage stock.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the pastry operation to high standards.
• Ensure all cakes, desserts and patisserie are made from scratch.
• Maintain ordering, stock control and waste minimisation in a fast-paced kitchen.
