VolkerHighways in Brentwood is recruiting a Lead Operative to join our Traffic Management team. You will ensure traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in line with Chapter 8 and project drawings, working under supervision to uphold safety and quality.

The role requires prior traffic management operations and highways maintenance experience, a full UK driving license, and ideally a First Aid at Work certificate.

• Experience in highways maintenance.
• Holder of 12D M1-M6 and/or 12A/B LTMO/Foreman.
• Full valid UK driving license.
• Holder of First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).

About The Role

We currently have a superb opportunity for a Lead Operative to join our Traffic Management business, based out of our Brentwood depot.

The successful candidate will work to instruction from supervisors, ensuring all traffic management is installed, maintained and removed in accordance with Chapter 8 and scheme drawings, whilst demonstrating by example a Safety and Quality approach that is without compromise.

About You

• Previous experience in traffic management operations
• Previous experience in highways maintenance
• Holder of 12D M1-M6 and/or 12A/B LTMO/Foreman
• Holder of full valid UK driving license
• Holder of valid First Aid at Work qualification (desirable)
