Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an Associate Director of Product Management for the OpenBlue Workplace Experience to lead strategy, growth, and execution of a portfolio redefining workplace interaction.

You will collaborate across product management, engineering, UX, data analytics, customer success, and commercial teams to shape an AI-native platform, drive portfolio performance, and develop a high-performing product team in a culture of innovation and accountability.

Qualifications

• Significant product management experience leading product teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience managing complex enterprise software portfolios, including hardware and digital solutions.
• Strong understanding of agile product development principles and best practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate hands-on with engineering and technical teams to bring products to market.
• Understanding of corporate real estate, workplace management, and workplace technology.

Responsibilities

• Define and own long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the OpenBlue Workplace Experience portfolio, including hardware solutions.
• Transform the platform into an AI-native solution, leveraging AI to create proactive workplace experiences.
• Oversee product prioritization, backlog management, and roadmap execution across Product Management and Engineering.
• Lead the Workplace Experience Customer Advisory Board using insights to shape strategy and partnerships.
• Deliver high-impact product enhancements with Engineering, UX, AI, and Quality to create measurable value.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle for planning, execution, and releases.
• Develop pricing, packaging, and commercialization strategies to maximize customer value and business impact.
