Job summary

BJF Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Onsite Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services on a 179-unit residential development in Guildford. You will have full on-site responsibility for mechanical installations from first fix through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery aligns with programme and budget.

Role requires proven experience with residential mechanical packages, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing mechanical packages on residential developments (ideally 100+ units).
Strong knowledge of domestic plumbing/heating and MVHR/MEV systems.
Experience delivering projects from pre-construction to handover.
Good understanding of UK Building Regulations (Part L, Part F).
Familiarity with QA software Field View and SnagR.

Responsibilities

Oversee all mechanical installations on a 179-unit residential scheme in Guildford.
Lead on-site delivery from first fix to commissioning and handover.
Coordinate with main contractor, site team and trades to maintain programme.
Supervise subcontractors and direct labour; manage QA inspections and snagging.
Attend and lead site meetings with stakeholders.
