Paint the Town Green is seeking an experienced Working Supervisor in London to lead a small decorating team on high-end residential and commercial projects. You will balance hands-on painting with project supervision, ensuring quality and client satisfaction in occupied properties.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety and sustainable painting practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional finishes and maintaining professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional painter and decorator.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Confident communicator with a professional demeanour.
• Able to adapt to different environments including occupied homes.
• Organised and proactive with initiative to solve on-site issues.
• Committed to quality, detail and sustainability.
• Valid CSCS and SMSTS credentials required.
• DBS checks required.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, working with the team on high-spec decorating jobs.
• Supervise daily site activities and ensure delivery to high standards, on time and within budget.
• Communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Serve as main on-site contact for clients, colleagues and suppliers.
• Coordinate schedules, delegate tasks and support team development.
• Maintain a clean, safe and respectful working environment.
• Uphold sustainability values and eco-friendly practices on every project.
