Paint the Town Green is seeking an experienced Working Supervisor in London to lead a small decorating team on high-end residential and commercial projects. You will balance hands-on painting with project supervision, ensuring quality and client satisfaction in occupied properties.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety and sustainable painting practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional finishes and maintaining professional client relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional painter and decorator.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Confident communicator with a professional demeanour.
• Able to adapt to different environments including occupied homes.
• Organised and proactive with initiative to solve on-site issues.
• Committed to quality, detail and sustainability.
• Valid CSCS and SMSTS credentials required.
• DBS checks required.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and personable Working Supervisor to lead and work alongside a small team of decorators. This is a hands‑on role, ideally suited to someone who loves being on the tools while also managing projects, supporting their team, and ensuring consistently outstanding results for our clients.

You’ll be responsible for supervising projects on-site, managing up to 5 decorators, and maintaining a calm, professional presence—whether you're on a busy building site or in a lived-in, client-occupied home.

Key Responsibilities
