Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a Working Foreperson to join our Response and Maintenance team in the Berkshire area. You will lead a team of Void Operatives, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.

The role offers a competitive basic salary (£42,263) with potential to earn up to £46,319, weekly pay, 39-hour week, overtime and bonuses, plus a company van, PPE, and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• Demonstrable experience leading an on site team.
• Experience in domestic / social housing or relevant response environment is preferred but not essential.
• Passion for making a difference to peoples homes with strong customer service skills.
• Driving licence, with eligibility to drive in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a successful, high performing Operative team, supporting them on site to deliver work to a high quality standard
• Utilise your IT skills, by producing and reviewing productivity reports, confirming weekly timesheets and engaging with customers and the client
• Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilising problem-solving capabilities.
• Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work
• You will be responsible for ensuring our clients properties are ready for handover, working to deadlines and managing timeframes to ensure transitions run smoothly
