Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is seeking a Working Foreperson to lead an on-site team in the Waverley area, coordinating multi-trade repairs and ensuring high-quality delivery. You will supervise a Void Operatives team, manage timesheets, and engage with clients to maintain excellent service standards.

Role emphasises Health and Safety, on-site support, and timely handovers. A valid UK driving license is required, with DBS checks and commitment to equality and inclusion.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• Experience leading an on-site team to deliver high-quality work.
• Desirable: experience in domestic/social housing or response environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a successful, high performing Operative team, on-site to deliver high quality work.
• Produce and review productivity reports, confirm weekly timesheets and engage with customers and the client.
• Undertake multi-trade tasks (plumbing, plastering, tiling, carpentry) in domestic settings, using problem-solving.
• Ensure client properties are ready for handover, meet deadlines and manage timeframes for smooth transitions.
