Job summary

Ian Williams Ltd is looking for a Working Foreperson to join our Response and Maintenance team in the Waverley area. You will organise, supervise and support a team of Void Operatives to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

The role offers a competitive basic salary (£44,433 with the potential to £48,489), weekly pay, a company van, uniform, 31 days holiday and pension contributions, plus various perks. You will lead multi-trade domestic repairs and ensure properties are ready for handover.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant trade.
• Proven experience leading on-site teams.
• Experience in domestic/social housing or response environments is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing on-site Operative team to deliver high-quality work.
• Produce productivity reports and review weekly timesheets with clients.
• Perform multi-trade tasks (plumbing, plastering, tiling, carpentry) in domestic settings.
• Handle repairs such as leaks, drainage unblocks and kitchen/bathroom fixes.
• Ensure properties are ready for handover, meeting deadlines and timeframes.
