Job summary
The Economics Network in Liverpool is seeking a Research Technician to join the Technical Services Team within the ocean sciences group of the School of Environmental Sciences.
The post provides specialist technical support to research and teaching activities across Ocean Sciences and the Liverpool Isotope Facility for Environmental Research (LIFER), collaborating with colleagues across the School and with collaborators nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead technician for ocean biogeochemistry including LIFER and nutrient laboratories.
- Support operation and management of EA-IRMS and GC-IRMS instrumentation.
- Assist with nutrients, TOC and plankton imaging.
