Job summary

The National Oceanography Centre in Liverpool is seeking a Business Data Manager on a part-time basis. The role focuses on managing data products, customer support, quotes, data preparation and invoicing for our software and data services.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with external customers, collaborate with software developers, scientists and business development staff, and promote our products through demos and training materials.

Qualifications

• Background in a STEM subject to degree or equivalent level.
• Experience using MS Office and manipulating data to produce reports for customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build external relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, quotes, data preparation and invoicing.
• Set up software to meet customer needs and maintain excellent service levels.
• Promote products through demonstrations and training materials; gather feedback from customers.
