Job summary

Just Teachers Ltd is recruiting for a Nurture Lead in Oakham to oversee a small SEMH provision. You will plan and deliver relationship-led sessions, focusing on emotional regulation and engagement, within a structured and therapeutic environment.

You will collaborate with staff to ensure consistent behaviour support, build routines, and create a safe space where pupils can regulate and progress toward readiness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children/young people with SEMH in nurture or trauma-informed settings.
• Strong understanding of attachment, trauma, and emotional regulation strategies.
• Confidence leading a small group or provision and adapting approaches to individual needs.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in education, youth work, psychology, or therapeutic support.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nurture-based provision, supporting a small group of pupils with SEMH and trauma-related needs
• Plan and deliver tailored, relationship-led sessions focusing on emotional regulation, social skills and engagement
• Work closely with wider staff to ensure consistency in behaviour support strategies and individual plans
• Create a safe, structured environment that promotes routine, trust, and positive outcomes for pupils
