Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a Secondment Lead for the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team within the Families First Programme. The post runs for two years to 26 March 2028 and brings specialist safeguarding knowledge to risk assessments and navigating health systems in complex family cases.

You will lead policy development, training, supervision and audits, reporting to partnership boards, and work with health, social care, education and police to improve safeguarding

Formación

• Degree-level study in a relevant field.
• Active NMC registration.
• Experience in safeguarding and child protection.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safeguarding and child protection expertise within the MACPT.
• Lead high-quality risk assessments for complex cases.
• Collaborate with health, social care, education, police and partners on safeguarding needs.
• Develop safeguarding policies and procedures and best practice.
• Deliver safeguarding training, supervision and professional advice to colleagues and partners.
• Analyse safeguarding data, undertake audits and contribute to quality improvement.
• Prepare and present reports to safeguarding groups, governance meetings and boards.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships to strengthen multi-agency working.
• Promote learning and continuous improvement through audits and safeguarding reviews.
• Act as a visible leader and role model for safeguarding practice.
• Ambassador for Sandwell Health Economy.
