Qualifications

• NMC Registration required.
• Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
• Post-registration qualification in area of specialty preferred.
• Evidence of continuing professional development or education.
• Awareness of recent advances within Nursing practice.
• Knowledge of Clinical Governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support Unit Managers in ensuring provision of excellent care with compassion for patients and families.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate care to meet personalised health and wellbeing needs per standards.
• Provide leadership and direction to the team and maintain high standards of care.
• Promote patient safety, risk management and compliance with health and safety policies.
• Communicate relevant information to the multidisciplinary team and external organisations.
• Educate and train junior staff and participate in their development.
