Burlington Primary Care is seeking an advanced nurse practitioner or advanced clinical practitioner to share clinical duties with nursing leadership in a permanent post. The role can be full or part time, with balance between direct patient care and leadership responsibilities negotiable.

You will need current NMC registration and an independent prescribing qualification, and you will lead the nursing and HCA team, develop services and ensure high standards of patient care across the practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s level qualification in advanced practice or equivalent.
• Independent prescriber qualification.
• Current NMC registration as a registered nurse.

Responsabilités

• Assess, diagnose and manage acute and undifferentiated presentations independently
• Prescribe independently within scope of practice
• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and support to the nursing and HCA team
• Lead workforce development including induction, appraisal and mentoring
• Develop nursing protocols, care pathways and service improvements
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and practice policies
