Job summary
Nu Quantum is building the next generation of quantum networks in Cambridge. We seeks a Neutral Atom Systems Architect to lead the specification and architecture of a Networking layer enabling distributed quantum computing with neutral-atom qubits.
You will collaborate with AMO theorists, QEC researchers and hardware engineers to define interfaces, performance targets, and scalable system design. You will shape how hardware interacts with software, own system specifications, and drive technical
Qualifications
- PhD preferred in Physics with neutral-atom QC focus.
- Deep technical expertise in neutral-atom computing.
- Experience with high-fidelity qubits and optical systems.
- Strong collaboration and leadership in multi-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the Network System Architecture for Neutral Atoms.
- Lead hardware interface specs and target performance.
- Collaborate with AMO theorists, QEC, and engineering teams.
- Influence product strategy and roadmaps with cross-functional partners.
