Job summary

Active Care Group's Birmingham Neuro division seeks an ambitious Occupational Therapist to lead a high-performing team within a state-of-the-art facility. You will shape neurorehabilitation pathways, supervise staff, and deliver person-centred care that drives outstanding outcomes.

HCPC registration is required; experience in neurological rehab and DBS check needed. A £5,000 welcome bonus is paid in two instalments, with weekend and bank holiday considerations as part of the expanded 7-day model.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation or related complex care settings.
• Demonstrates strong leadership skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Enhanced DBS will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy team, ensuring delivery of a highly specialist OT service.
• Work as an autonomous practitioner to plan and prioritise a complex clinical caseload.
• Collaborate with clients and families to encourage participation in therapy.
• Provide supervision, teaching and appraisal for junior therapists and support staff.
• Contribute to planning, development and evaluation of the OT service.
• Develop OT treatment programmes with clients and carers and other professionals.
• Participate in clinical audit, risk management and quality assurance.
