Job summary

Active Neuro, part of Active Care Group, is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist in Birmingham to lead a pioneering neurorehabilitation service. You'll shape clinical practice, mentor a multidisciplinary team, and drive patient-centred outcomes in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will work within a seven-day model as the service expands, with enhanced DBS and HCPC registration required. Significant investment in new facilities and technology supports ambitious delivery.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and current professional status.
• Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation or complex care.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Experience supervising juniors and coordinating MDT members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy team within a specialist neuro-rehabilitation service.
• Plan and prioritise a complex clinical caseload as an autonomous practitioner.
• Collaborate with clients and families to maximise engagement in therapy.
• Supervise, teach, and appraise junior therapists and students.
• Develop treatment programmes in partnership with clients and other professionals.
• Contribute to clinical audits, risk management and incident reporting.
• Support service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
