Job summary

Saga is seeking a Lead Application Developer to head a team migrating legacy systems to modern, scalable .NET solutions. You will design architecture, mentor developers, and ensure secure, resilient delivery from office in Folkestone.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet business needs with speed and quality. The ideal candidate has senior/lead experience in C#, SQL and the .NET ecosystem, with knowledge of REST/Web API, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• You will have worked as a Senior/Lead Application Developer with expert C#, SQL and .NET experience.
• Experience in the travel industry is desirable.
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Experience producing/consuming Web API and REST frameworks; cross‑platform integrations.
• Azure or public cloud experience is advantageous; CI/CD and modern DevOps pipelines.
• JIRA, Agile methodologies, and proactive teamwork are expected.
• Strong communication; security practices including OWASP Top 10 awareness.

• Lead design and delivery of scalable, high‑performance .NET solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Mentor developers and promote engineering best practices.
