Job summary

Proactive Appointments is seeking an experienced Lead .NET Developer to help shape the design, delivery and quality of scalable software solutions. You will provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle and mentor a growing team of developers to raise engineering standards.

You will collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, QA, Support and Project teams to ensure robust applications are delivered on time, with a focus on best practices, performance and security, and continuous

Qualifications

• Extensive software development experience with C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core/.NET.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, microservices, and event‑driven architecture.
• Solid experience with SQL Server, REST APIs, MVC and Web API.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and support developers and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced Lead .NET Developer to join our growing technology team and play a key role in shaping the development and delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions.

In this role, you'll provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle, guiding and mentoring developers while helping to establish and drive engineering best practices. You'll work closely with colleagues across Product, DevOps, QA, Support, and Project teams, contributing to technical strategy and ensuring the successful delivery of robust applications.

Key skills/experience

• Extensive software development experience with the below Tech stack

• Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET

• Experience with Azure, Microservices, and Event-Driven Architecture

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, REST APIs, MVC, and Web APIs

• Experience with Docker, gRPC, and Azure Service Bus

• Proficiency with Git and modern software development practices

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Previous experience leading, mentoring and supporting developers

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be a distinct advantage:
