Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies in Milton Keynes seeks a Lead NDT Inspector to join the Quality team. You will apply UT, Dye Penetrant and Eddy Current techniques to ensure critical components meet high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include reporting, NCR processing, and collaborating with engineers to resolve quality concerns. Travel to test events will be required as needed.

Qualifications

Experienced in Composite NDT inspection; some metallic inspection experience is desirable.
Strong working knowledge of UT, Dye Penetrant and Eddy Current techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Able to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
Flexible to support shift patterns and occasional out-of-hours testing.

Responsibilities

Perform NDT inspections using UT, Dye Penetrant and Eddy Current techniques.
Ensure components meet specifications, material requirements and processes.
Identify and process non-conforming components via NCR system.
Complete inspection reports and NDT documentation accurately.
Support inspection of new and used components for reliability and safety.
Liaise with suppliers, engineers and designers to resolve quality concerns.
Support continuous improvement and identify inspection efficiency opportunities.
Assist Head of Quality with NDT best practices and future tech.
Travel to test events when required to support inspection activities.

Red Bull Advanced Technologies are seeking an experienced Lead NDT Inspector to join our Quality team in Milton Keynes. Working across a diverse range of high-performance engineering projects, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance through the application of non-destructive testing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Perform NDT inspections using Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Dye Penetrant and Eddy Current Inspection techniques.
Ensure components conform to the correct specification, material requirements and special processes.
Identify and process non-conforming components through the NCR system.
Complete inspection reports and NDT documentation accurately and in line with company requirements.
Support the inspection of both new and used components to ensure reliability and safety standards are maintained.
Liaise with suppliers, engineers and designers to resolve quality concerns and determine component suitability.
Support continuous improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve inspection efficiency.
Assist the Head of Quality with the development and implementation of NDT best practices and future technologies.
Travel to test events when required to support inspection activities.
