Job summary

A Senior Engineer - Software role based in New Malden with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. You will lead software development across the full lifecycle, providing technical leadership to engineering teams and delivering secure, reliable mission-critical capability. Start ASAP with BPSS + SC clearance requirements.

The role requires hands-on design, development, verification and delivery within a complex defence-oriented environment, using Ada, C#, and C++ in a regulated setting.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or related field required.
Experience delivering robust software for complex systems.
Ability to lead software teams and mentor engineers.
Security clearance BPSS/SC preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

Lead software engineering across the full lifecycle.
Provide technical leadership for software components and sub-systems.
Define and maintain software designs per standards and principles.
Review and improve software work products for robustness and efficiency.
Develop verification and validation strategies, plans and testing activities.
Capture, refine and manage software requirements with stakeholders.
Produce estimates and support planning of software work packages and deliveries.
