Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a professional Reception Supervisor for the HMRC Stratford Regional Centre, London. You will oversee front‑of‑house operations across Main and BEC Reception, coordinating visitor management, sign‑in processes, and security adherence.

You will lead a small team, coach staff, and ensure high service standards while supporting the wider reception function during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Essential: previous experience as Reception Supervisor or Senior Receptionist.
• Desirable: experience managing multiple reception areas.
• Strong knowledge of visitor and contractor management processes.
• Experience supervising small teams or leading front‑of‑house operations.

Responsibilities

• Reception leadership — Supervise reception staff across Main Reception and BEC Reception, ensuring consistent service delivery and professional standards.
• Front‑of‑house coordination — Oversee visitor management, contractor sign‑in, and adherence to security protocols at both reception points.
• Team support — Provide additional support to the wider reception team as needed, including covering shifts and busy periods.
• Training & development — Coach and mentor reception staff, ensuring processes are followed and service levels are maintained.
• Service quality monitoring — Review front‑of‑house performance, identify improvements, and escalate concerns when required.
• Meeting room oversight — Manage bookings, resolve conflicts, ensure rooms are prepared to standard.
• Client and stakeholder communication — Main point of contact for reception‑related queries and service improvements.
• Administrative management — Oversee documentation, reporting, and inbox management for both reception areas.
• Building support liaison — Work with security, engineering and cleaning teams to support daily building operations.
