Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Scientist to build and deploy search, ranking, personalisation, and decisioning models for consumer banking. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on IC work on a cloud-native platform, serving 15+ million customers.

You’ll own end-to-end ML projects, apply embeddings and contextual bandits, and deliver scalable, explainable AI with strong Python and SQL skills. Part-time role with UK remote flexibility and relocation/visa options.
