Monzo in the UK is seeking a Lead Machine Learning Scientist to build and deploy scalable ML models that help customers search for and understand their financial lives. You’ll be a technical leader on a cloud-native data platform serving billions of rows of data, balancing speed, accuracy and business impact.

You’ll work with Python, SQL and Go, apply embeddings, contextual bandits and ranking algorithms, and develop explainable AI that improves trust and the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of developing and deploying advanced ML models to tackle real business problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead ML modelling and deployment for production-scale search and discovery.
• Collaborate with Backend, ML Scientists, and Data Scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions.
