Nottingham University Hospitals NHS is seeking a Senior Midwifery Manager to lead obstetric services and drive clinical governance and service improvement. The role requires proven leadership, extensive post-registration experience, and on-call commitment to the senior midwifery team.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care, contribute to workforce planning, and support CPD and professional development across the department.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Midwife with first degree or equivalent in health-related subject.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional development.
• Masters degree or equivalent post-training is desirable.
• Leadership training/qualification is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Significant post-registration experience including management and leadership.
• Experience of leading or managing a service at Band 7 level.
• Experience delivering programmes of change and leading patient groups.
• Ability to provide specialised advice concerning patient care.
• Knowledge of budgets and financial control.
• Experience with Clinical Governance and HR processes.
• Experience with obstetric-led outpatient services.
