We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and experienced midwife to step into the role of Lead Midwife for Labour Ward. As Lead Midwife, you will work closely with the Intrapartum Matron and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care across the Labour Ward, Maternity Triage, and Obstetric Theatre.

The borough has one of the youngest populations in London and continues to grow. Croydon Health Services cares for local people at Croydon University Hospital, Purley Memorial Hospital and in clinics and people's homes all across the borough.

Croydon University Hospital (CUH) maternity delivers 3300 babies every year from women of a wide and diverse background. CUH has been rated as 'Good' by the CQC and we are looking for strong, clinically credible leaders to help us in our journey to a CQC rating of 'Outstanding'.

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust provide hospital and community services from a number of community and specialist clinics throughout Croydon. The Trust was formed on 1st August 2010 through the integration of Croydon Community Health Services and Mayday Healthcare NHS Trust.
