Job summary

NaturalMotion in London is seeking a talented Meta Designer to shape metagame, live, and progression features for a first-person shooter mobile title. You will own features from conception through live, coordinating with design, art, UX, engineering, and product management to ensure an engaging and sustainable experience.

You'll join a team that values craft, experimentation, and a love of action games, with a hybrid setup (2 days in our London office and the rest from home).

Qualifications

• Metagame / Progression / Engagement design experience in video games.
• At least one shipped title in a live service design role.
• Experience balancing progression and in-game economies for live games.
• Knowledge of KPIs and player behavior data.

Responsibilities

• Own progression, economy, and engagement features from concept to live.
• Define analytics goals, metrics, and actions based on data.
• Collaborate with liveops and product teams to boost engagement.
• Work with art, animation, audio, design and engineering to build content.
• Balance in-game economies across metagame features.
• Analyze player feedback to improve metagame and retention.
• Manage multiple features in parallel as pipelines run.
