Pixel Toys in Leamington Spa is seeking a Lead Game Designer to shape the future of a live midcore mobile RPG. Translate the Game Director's vision into rewarding systems, feature scopes, and player experiences that balance creativity and commercial goals.

You'll partner with engineering, UX, art, audio, QA, analytics and live ops to ensure features launch smoothly, with a focus on player value, retention, and healthy live operation.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of mobile games and player behaviour.
Experience designing metagame and progression systems.
Ability to translate product goals into feature design.
Experience mentoring designers or leading feature teams.

Responsibilities

Drive design and evolution of key features from concept to live operation.
Turn product goals into clear system designs and scopes.
Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, art, audio, QA, analytics and live ops.
Represent the product vision within the team and balance player value with business needs.
Track feature performance and iterate based on feedback.
