You will own metagame features from conception through live operations, collaborating with design, art, UX, engineering and product teams to deliver a scalable, data-driven mobile experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Metagame / Progression / Engagement Design in video games.
• At least one shipped title in a design role for a live service title.
• Experience designing progression, economy, or engagement features for live games.
• Knowledge of KPIs and player behavior data; ability to balance design decisions.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple designs in a fast-paced development environment.

Responsibilities

• Own metagame features from conception through live operations.
• Define and analyze analytics, feature data, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with live and product teams to boost engagement.
• Work with art, animation, audio, design and engineering to build content.
• Balance in-game economies across metagame features.
• Ensure features meet engagement goals with UX and engineering.
• Analyze player data to identify and fix metagame issues and retention barriers.
• Manage multiple features in parallel and communicate concepts clearly.
