Job summary

Bulb Interiors is seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, PH, and BMS works on live project sites in the Cambridge area. You will bridge design, subcontractors, and installation teams to deliver technically complex MEP services safely, on time, and to exacting standards.

With hands-on installation experience on CAT A/B commercial fit-outs and a strong background in health & safety, you will drive commissioning, handover, and stakeholder coordination while

Qualifications

• Proven MEP site management experience on CAT A/CAT B commercial fit-outs.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, PH and BMS systems.
• SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold) and First Aid qualifications required.
• Laboratory refurbishment experience in live pharma or life sciences is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership with track record of driving trade performance.
• Ability to read, interpret and coordinate complex technical drawings.
• Strong planning and problem-solving attitude; proficient with MS Office and PM software.

Responsibilities

• Trade Coordination: Manage and coordinate on-site MEP subcontractors to ensure smooth installation sequences.
• Drawing Verification: Interrogate technical layouts to match designs.
• Quality Assurance: Site inspections to ensure designs and QA/QC.
• Commissioning & Handover: Oversee testing and commissioning for MEP and BMS.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce CDM compliance and RAMS reviews.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage on-site communications and collect certifications and O&M docs.
