Job summary

Mott MacDonald in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior MEP BIM Technician to strengthen our Nuclear, Defence and Civil division. You will lead the production and coordination of MEP BIM models using Revit, driving high-quality digital design across project stages.

As a senior member, you will mentor junior team members, contribute to BIM standards, participate in client meetings and support continuous improvement of digital delivery, while embracing our hybrid working policy.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience producing and coordinating MEP BIM models using Revit.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, information management principles and industry standards.
• Experience coordinating MEP services within multidisciplinary design environments.
• Sound knowledge of building services engineering, construction methodologies and relevant regulations.
• Ability to review and check technical deliverables to a high standard.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior team members.
• Proactive approach to problem solving with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the production, coordination and management of MEP BIM models and associated deliverables using Revit and other digital design tools
• Oversee the preparation and development of detailed drawings, schedules and technical documentation across all project stages
• Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services within wider project models
• Support the implementation of BIM standards, procedures and information management requirements across projects
• Undertake model reviews and quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with project requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BIM Technicians and junior team members
• Contribute to clash detection, model coordination and design reviews to support efficient project delivery
• Participate in site surveys, technical workshops and client meetings as required
• Support project teams in resolving technical and design coordination challenges
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice in digital delivery
