Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Mechanical Site Supervisor to lead on-site mechanical installations across new build projects. You will coordinate directly employed crews and subcontractors, plan labour and materials, and maintain programme quality.

Applicants should have strong plumbing/heating background, ability to read drawings, and proven supervision experience. Site-based role with RAMS and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Strong practical background in plumbing, heating and mechanical building services.
• Experience supervising mechanical installations on construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan labour, materials and site activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day mechanical installation works on site.
• Manage directly employed operatives and subcontractors.
• Plan labour, materials and site activities in line with the construction programme.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Mechanical Project Manager.
• Coordinate and manage the ordering and delivery of materials.
• Ensure installations are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant industry standards.
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging and remedial works.
• Identify and resolve technical and installation issues before they impact the programme.
• Coordinate mechanical works with other trades and the main contractor's site management team.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with RAMS, health and safety legislation and site requirements.
