Job summary

Westwood Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager for building services projects in Ipswich. You will lead delivery of mechanical works, coordinate planning through to completion, and liaise with contractors, consultants, clients and subcontractors.

You will oversee installation, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover, ensuring health and safety and project requirements are met, while monitoring costs, progress and resources.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Mechanical Project Manager in M&E/building services.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services incl. HVAC, pipework and plant.
• Experience managing commercial projects from start to finish.
• Good understanding of project costs, programmes and delivery requirements.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of mechanical works across commercial building services projects.
• Coordinate project activities from planning through to completion, ensuring works meet programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Liaise with key project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, clients and subcontractors.
• Manage subcontractor performance, procurement and material requirements.
• Monitor project progress, costs and resources, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, snagging and handover of mechanical services.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and project requirements.
