The Mechanical Construction Manager will oversee delivery, installation and commissioning of mechanical building services on high-profile rail, infrastructure and commercial projects in West London. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to manage fast-track projects and multidisciplinary teams.

You will ensure safety, quality and on-schedule delivery, with exposure to BIM, DfMA and ISO19650 practices.

Qualifications

• Mechanical degree or extensive mechanical building services experience.
• Essential certifications: SMSTS and CSCS.
• Proven track record on high-value rail projects.

Responsabilités

• On-site Management: Drive daily site progress, manage subcontractors, and coordinate site teams to meet schedule and quality requirements.
• Technical Oversight: Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications for HVAC, pipework, and other mechanical building services systems.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards, RAMS, and quality standards, including ISO19650.
• Project Delivery: Report milestones to project managers, oversee material procurement, and assist with commissioning and handover processes.
• Innovation & Technology: Apply Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles and leverage BIM technologies to improve project efficiency.
