Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services in the UK seeks a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex projects. You will oversee mechanical scopes, coordinate with contractors, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role requires a proven track record delivering large-scale mechanical installations, supervising teams, and managing submittals, commissioning plans, and handover processes. A construction/project management qualification and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects.
• Qualification in Construction/Project Management preferred.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Experience supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend project start-up meetings and manage mechanical aspects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Familiarise with project details and specifications.
• Collate technical submittals and secure approvals.
• Maintain weekly Progress Reports and manage changes.
• Liaise with main contractors and site team.
• Oversee delivery of project plant and equipment.
• Ensure materials are available to complete the project.
• Implement commissioning plan on site.
• Manage K&M handover and document management.
• Attend meetings with sub-contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend site meetings and action points.
• Communicate innovative works to Contracts Manager (R&D).
