Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the delivery of major Data Centre and Mission Critical projects. You will oversee mechanical design from concept through to completion, working with clients and internal teams across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

The role offers exposure to live plant upgrades, data halls and critical infrastructure, with hybrid working and a 9-day fortnight as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of mechanical/building services engineering and data centre experience.
• Experience leading design teams on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management abilities; strong commercial awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the mechanical design delivery of significant and complex projects.
• Own technical quality, design objectives and project delivery.
• Establish and manage design briefs with clients and project stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams.
• Manage and support project engineers and specialist teams.
• Represent the consultancy at client and project meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify potential project and procurement risks and support commercially successful delivery.
• Ensure designs and deliverables meet the required technical, quality and programme standards.
