Job summary

Browne Group is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead multiple mechanical design packages across water and wastewater projects. You will own the design quality from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and client requirements.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing support during procurement, installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working toward it.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex mechanical design packages for water and wastewater projects.
• Provide technical ownership and ensure designs meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability development.
• Support commissioning and provide specialist mechanical input during procurement and installation.
