Job summary

PwE Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a hands-on Technical Leader for mechanical design, analysis and qualification of complex equipment including subsea systems. You will drive design across lifecycle, working with project, manufacturing, testing and quality teams to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of mechanical design engineering experience.
• Experience delivering products from concept through design, manufacture and testing.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD packages such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience using engineering calculations and FEA tools such as ANSYS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptual and detailed design of mechanical equipment and engineered systems.
• Produce 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials.
• Perform engineering calculations relating to pressure, structural integrity, fatigue and load-bearing applications.
• Conduct and review FEA studies to ensure safety and performance standards.
• Support design verification, qualification and testing activities, including FAT and system integration testing.
• Ensure compliance with API, ISO, ASME and DNV standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.
• Support manufacturing, fabrication, assembly and testing activities, resolving technical challenges.
