Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd is seeking a Chartered Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development and delivery of safety-critical equipment for rail and infrastructure projects at their Gloucestershire facility, with a flexible hybrid working model.

You will manage the full product lifecycle from concept to manufacture, support existing customers and drive new developments, requiring SolidWorks and FEA skills, knowledge of Machinery Directive, and strong stakeholder

Formación

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) designation required.
• Strong mechanical design engineering experience in heavy industries.
• Experience designing safety-critical fabricated products and assemblies.
• Knowledge of Machinery Directive, CE Marking and UKCA compliance.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks including FEA.
• Experience producing technical documentation and design reports.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead technical projects from concept through manufacture and delivery.
