Job summary

MBDA in the United Kingdom is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Mechanical Future Concepts team within the Research and Development unit. The successful candidate will engage in diverse Mechanical Engineering projects and propose innovative research ideas while collaborating with SMEs and Academia.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC qualified with experience in Mechanical Design and R&D.
• Capability to manage work packages and rapid development activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on Research and Development projects for Mechanical technologies.
• Propose ideas for future research topics and obtain funding.
• Collaborate with SMEs and Academia on multi-national projects.
