Job summary

The successful candidate will join a growing Building Services team as an Associate Mechanical Design Engineer. Based in London and other offices, you will lead mechanical design for complex projects, manage teams and engage clients to drive project success.

You will promote sustainable, low-carbon solutions and ensure compliance with Building Regulations, British Standards and related guidance while mentoring engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or membership of CIBSE/IMEchE or equivalent.
• Experience leading mechanical building services projects in a consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of building services projects from concept through to completion.
• Act as Lead Mechanical Engineer on projects of varying size and value.
• Prepare, review and approve calculations, specifications, reports and drawings.
• Deliver high-quality HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and public health designs.
