Job summary

MJP SOLUTIONS LTD in West London is recruiting an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead on-site delivery of major infrastructure M&E packages. The role focuses on coordinating installation teams and subcontractors from construction through commissioning and handover.

You will ensure adherence to programme, quality and safety standards while interfacing with other disciplines to drive packages to completion.

Qualifications

Experience as Mechanical Construction Manager or Mechanical Site Manager on major infra projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and installations.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
Experience coordinating installation teams and subcontractors.
Proven ability to drive packages from construction through to commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

Manage mechanical installation activities across the project.
Coordinate subcontractors, supervisors and site labour.
Plan and sequence works in line with the construction programme.
Review mechanical drawings, specifications and technical information.
Coordinate mechanical installations with electrical, civil and other disciplines.
Monitor programme, productivity and quality.
Manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation.
Identify and resolve technical and installation issues.
Attend progress, construction and coordination meetings.
Manage snagging and remedial works.
Oversee testing and commissioning activities.
Drive mechanical packages through to completion and handover.
Maintain high standards of health & safety throughout delivery.
