Job summary

Dunbia in Cardington is seeking a Production Manager to lead all production operations in a fast-paced meat processing environment. This role focuses on ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across lairage, abattoir, quartering, deboning, trimming, processing, packing, storage, and distribution.

You will develop strategic resource plans, drive continuous improvement, and motivate a team to achieve optimal yield and costs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, preferably in meat processing.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement.
Understanding of food safety, quality standards, and compliance frameworks.
Leadership and people management skills to inspire and motivate teams.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
Experience in strategic resource planning and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Oversee production processes across all stages of meat processing and distribution.
Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety standards.
