Job summary

Global Brands Limited is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its busy finance team in Chesterfield. You will lead and develop a team of three, ensuring accurate monthly management accounts and insightful financial reporting.

You will manage close processes, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and deliver timely financial information to support business decisions. A strong communicator with commercial acumen is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting and month-end close.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation and journal posting skills.
• Excellent Excel and data handling with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and support financial reporting.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Prepare and post journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Provide financial analysis and commentary for business decisions.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Lead and develop three direct reports and manage deadlines.
• Produce ad hoc reports and collaborate across the business.
