Job summary

Cosma International is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader (Upstream) to coordinate a multi-skilled maintenance team on a rotating shift. You will work with the production leaders to maximise plant availability and complete preventive maintenance on time.

The role requires an experienced maintenance professional with electrical and mechanical knowledge, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Expect engagement with continuous improvement and safety compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance function with leadership responsibilities.
• Time served apprentice in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Willingness to multi-skill and delegate to skilled workers.
• Ability to conduct fault finding from electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
• Strong report writing and MS Office skills.
• Experience with 5S and HSE compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Promote HSE policies across the department and plant.
• Ensure safe working environment using risk assessments.
• Manage contractors safely and report incidents.
• Maintain schedule of CM/CI/PM and track progress.
• Ensure equipment availability aligns with targets.
• Coach and mentor team; conduct annual appraisals.
• Identify training needs and support continuous improvement.
