Job summary

Brazen Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Engineering Team Leader for a fast-paced packaging manufacturing site in Leeds. The role leads a multi-skilled team, ensuring maximum plant availability while hands-on with automated production equipment.

You'll drive safety, reliability and continuous improvement, coaching engineers and managing both reactive and preventative maintenance on site. Excellent benefits accompany a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Progressed into a supervisory or team leadership role in engineering.
• Experience in packaging manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills with PLC diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers on shift.
• Allocate workload and prioritise activities to maximise equipment availability.
• Provide technical support during major breakdowns and during planned maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement, RCA and KPI delivery (downtime, OEE, PPM).
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Operations to optimise performance.
