Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment has a rare opening for a Lead Maintenance Engineer in metal manufacturing. You will lead day-to-day maintenance across the site, coordinating resources and ensuring safety, reliability and production readiness.

Relocation to the Scottish Highlands is supported. A competitive salary (£60,000–£64,000) plus a comprehensive benefits package including a company bonus, specialist training, enhanced pension and health care is on offer.

Qualifications

Qualification in relevant field.
Mechanically or electrically biased skillset.
Experience using CMMS systems.
Background working in metal processing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Lead safe and effective maintenance delivery across all areas of the site.
Set priorities for planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance, coordinating resources accordingly.
Coordinate engineering, craft and apprentice resources across departments.
Monitor weekly maintenance schedules, work quality, CMMS compliance and key performance measures.
Oversee safety measures and ensure maintenance personnel are suitably trained and competent for their roles.
Monday to Thursday, 7:30 – 5, Friday, 7:30 – 12:30.
