Job summary
Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Lead Maintenance Engineer for a specialist metal manufacturer in the Scottish Highlands. You will lead the day-to-day maintenance across the site, coordinating priorities, engineering resources and departmental requirements to keep plant and equipment safe, reliable and available for production.
The role offers relocation to the Scottish Highlands, a salary of £60,000 - £64,000 plus a relocation package, company bonus, specialist training,
Qualifications
- Qualification in relevant field.
- Mechanically or electrically biased skillset.
- Experience using CMMS systems.
- Background working in metal processing or industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day maintenance across the site.
- Set priorities for planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance, coordinating resources accordingly.
- Coordinate engineering, craft and apprentice resources across departments.
- Monitor weekly maintenance schedules, CMMS compliance and KPIs.
- Oversee safety measures and ensure maintenance personnel are trained and competent.
- Support shutdowns and installations by overseeing contractors.
